Privacy Policy.

Short version: we don't collect data we don't need, we don't track you, and we don't sell information about you. Ever.

Effective: 1 January 2026 · Last updated: 23 May 2026

1. Who we are

TravelTimeStory ("we", "us", "our") is an independent studio that builds mobile apps and games. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information across our website (traveltimestory.pages.dev) and all apps we publish, including Tic Tactics.

2. Our principles

  • No unnecessary data collection. If we don't strictly need it to make the app work, we don't ask for it.
  • No background tracking. Our apps do not run hidden background services to collect or transmit data about you.
  • No invasive permissions. We only request permissions the app's stated feature genuinely needs, and we explain why at the time of request.
  • No selling of personal data. We do not, and will not, sell or rent any personal information to third parties.
  • No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs are bundled in our current apps.

3. Information our apps handle

3.1 Tic Tactics

Tic Tactics is fully offline and does not require an account, login, or internet connection to play. Specifically:

  • No personal information is collected by the app.
  • No data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.
  • Local-only storage: Game settings, player names you type in, chosen icons, themes, and win-streak counts are stored only on your device using your device's standard local storage. They never leave your device.
  • No advertising identifiers are accessed.
  • No location, contacts, microphone, camera, or files are accessed.
  • Permissions used: only the standard permissions required for the app to function (vibration for haptic feedback). The app does not request internet, location, microphone, camera, contacts, or background service permissions.
  • You can clear all stored data at any time by clearing the app's data from Android Settings or uninstalling the app.

3.2 Future apps

Some future apps in our roadmap (for example travel planners or social tools) may need to handle additional data — such as notes you write, photos you attach, or content you choose to share with a small group. Where this applies:

  • The app will clearly tell you what it collects and why, before collecting it.
  • Data you create will, wherever possible, stay on your device.
  • If any app ever syncs data to a cloud service, this Privacy Policy will be updated with the details before that app is released.
  • You will always retain the ability to export and delete your data.

4. Children's privacy

Our games — including Tic Tactics — are designed to be appropriate for all ages, including children. They do not collect personal information from any user, including children. We comply with the Google Play Families Policy and applicable child-privacy laws (such as COPPA in the United States). If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us at traveltimestory@gmail.com and we will delete it immediately.

5. Information from this website

This website is a static informational site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may automatically collect basic, aggregated, non-personal request logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and abuse prevention. We do not place any analytics scripts, advertising cookies, or third-party trackers on this site.

6. Third-party services

Some of our apps may, in the future, optionally integrate with third-party platforms (for example, sharing a screenshot via your device's share sheet, or opening a map link). Where this is the case, those interactions are governed by the relevant third party's own privacy policy. We do not pass them any personal data of yours without your explicit action.

7. Security

Because our current apps don't transmit personal data, there is no server-side data to breach. Locally stored data (such as game settings) is protected by your device's standard sandboxing. For any future apps that handle more sensitive data, we will use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and disclose those practices in this policy.

8. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is typically nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. If a future app does store personal data on our servers, you will have the right to:

  • Request access to that data,
  • Request correction or deletion,
  • Withdraw any consent previously given,
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our app catalog grows. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how personal data is handled will be announced inside the relevant app and on this website before they take effect.
